Fairs

Our designer is travelling almost to all international fabric/fashion/ textile fairs, and the last 6 months her focus is on sustainable materials. We are trying to collect and develop as much as possible sustainable materials and fabrics to be able to offer to all the brands we are working with to support sustainability.Turkey is one of the leaders for organic cotton , for reclyle materials developments are still in process, we are following it very close.

İnnovation Forum Detroit

Our friend Emir from the sustainability department is on his way to attend the conference called “how to measure impact of sustainability in business (as ROI)” which be held in Detroit, and is organised by the Innovation Forum, which we are in close contact with. This is also an important matter in our opinion, since sustainability is sometimes communicated without the it’s economical effects, which decreases it’s power as an understanding. We are trying to increase our means to communicate it’s importance by learning it’s impacts on business aswell (calculated in return on investment figures for example)

Sustainable Angle

Our close contact organisation, Sustainable Angle London’s representative, an academician, 2 weeks ago visited our office and we made some brainstorming together. She was invited to as a spokesperon to a panel for İstanbul Fashion Week about sustainability. We had all merchandisers of our office join to this panel. The brainstorming in our office was done by all our team and top management aswell. This way we motivate our other departments as well to be updated and curious and attentive on the subject.
