Sustainability Talks –Istanbul 2021
The Orbit Consulting, Gaia Sourcing Partner in Sustainable Solutions and Sister Company, Textile Sustainability Consultant in Turkey organized an amazing Conference in İstanbul for the first time in November 2019 with over 650 attendees which gathers lots of textile professionals at the same platform to share their knowledge and experience on Sustainability .
It was an initiative to raise awareness on sustainability in the textile industry and bring sector leaders together to take solution-oriented steps, took place in Zorlu Performance Arts Center. Guests enjoyed a full day of inspiring talks of leading experts in the textile industry such as H&M, Stella McCartney, IKEA, Jeanologia, Kipaş Textiles.
This year,after a year break due to Covid 19, the event taking place with a hybrid organization on November 25 at Zorlu PSM and simultaneously on the digital platform, online, aims to highlight innovation and transparency and amplify sustainable solutions to many of the complex challenges facing the industry, from the climate emergency to transparency of supply chains, responsible sourcing of raw materials, and minimum resource usage in water and energy.
